General Survey Competition Terms and Conditions
1. The Promoter
1.1. The promoter of The Global Hotel Guest Experience Index (Hosptex powered by Alliants) is Alliants Limited. Registered Address: Fryern House, 125 Winchester Road, Chandlers Ford, Hampshire, SO53 2DR, United Kingdom. Company Registration Number (UK): 06868886. VAT Number (UK): 973844770. Registered in England and Wales.
2. Introduction
2.1. Unless otherwise stated or notified to you in advance, these General Survey Competition Terms and Conditions (“General Survey Competition T&Cs“) will govern all Alliants surveys and competitions going forward.
3. The Competition
3.1. Alliants is offering a chance to win a Prize, as set out in paragraph 6 below (the “Competition”) in accordance with these General Survey Competition T&Cs.
3.2. The Competition will run for the period stated within the relevant Survey.
3.3. By participating in The Global Hotel Guest Experience Index (Hosptex powered by Alliants) and the Competition (prize draw) you accept these General Survey Competition T&Cs.
4. How to participate
4.1. Complete The Global Hotel Guest Experience Index (Hosptex powered by Alliants) Survey that states it includes a Prize Draw before the expiry date.
5. Eligibility
In order to participate in the Competition participants must:
5.1. have completed the The Global Hotel Guest Experience Index (Hosptex powered by Alliants) within the specified time frame;
5.2. have answered all questions marked as required in the The Global Hotel Guest Experience Index (Hosptex powered by Alliants);
5.4. not be an employee, or supplier of Alliants, ora partner or relative of an Alliants employee;.
5.5. only have completed the Survey once, and;
5.6. be a working professional in the hotel industry in an eligible capacity as specified within the Survey.
(“Eligible Participants”)
6. Prize draw and redemption
6.1. For each Competition, Alliants will choose the winner of the Prize via a random draw, from all valid entries received from Eligible Participants (the “Winner”).
6.2. There will ordinarily be 1 Winner per Competition, unless no successful redemption takes place in accordance with these General Survey Competition T&Cs. Alliants reserves the right (but is under no obligation) to offer Prizes to more than one Winner per Competition.
6.3. The Winner will be selected through a computer based random draw within 7 days of the Survey ending.
6.4. Selection of Winners is a completely random process over which Alliants exercises no judgment and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of Competitions.
6.5. Identities of Winners will not be disclosed or published.
6.6. An email will be sent to the Winner (the “Email“). asking them to confirm the Prize that they wish to receive and the email address to send it to. To redeem their Prize, Winners must reply to the Email within 7 days of it being sent by Alliants.
6.7. Unless otherwise stated, the Email will be sent to the email address associated with the Winner’s Survey submission.
6.8. By participating in the Competition and accepting these General Survey Competition T&Cs you consent to Alliants using your personal information to contact you if you are a Winner.
7. The Prize
7.1. The Winner must choose a Prize from the following list (unless otherwise stated), which may be amended at Alliants discretion from time to time without notice (the ‘Prize’):
(a) £500 Amazon.co.uk (United Kingdom) Gift Card, emailed;
(b) £500 worth of Amazon.ca (Canada) Gift Card in Canadian Dollars, emailed;
(c) £500 worth of Amazon.com (USA) Gift Card in US Dollars, emailed;
(d) £500 worth of Amazon.fr (France) Gift Card in Euros, emailed;
(e) £500 worth of Amazon.de (Germany) Gift Card in Euros, emailed;
(f) £500 worth of Amazon.it (Italy) Gift Card in Euros, emailed;
(g) £500 worth of Amazon.es (Spain) Gift Card in Euros, emailed;
(h) £500 worth of Amazon.cn (Mainland China) Gift Card in Yuan Renminbi, emailed;
(i) £500 worth of Amazon.co.jp (Japan) Gift Card in Yen, emailed; or
(j) £500 worth of Amazon Gift Gard in equivalent local currency to the Winner’s address if none of the aforementioned currencies are applicable, emailed.
7.2. There is no cash alternative for a Prize and all Prizes are subject to availability.
7.3. A Prize is non-transferable.
7.4. Alliants accepts no responsibility for any costs involved in using a prize, such as delivery, currency conversions or customs charges.
8. Limitation ofLiability
Insofar and to the maximum extent as is permitted by law, Alliants, its agents or distributors will not under any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate a Competition participant or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of participating in the Competition except where personal injury or death is caused by the negligence of Alliants, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. General
9.1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these General Survey Competition Terms and Conditions, Alliants may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Competition.
9.2. Alliants reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary in Alliants’ sole discretion to do so.
9.3. Alliants reserves the right to update or amend these General Survey Competition T&Cs (as well as any other policies or guidance we issue) from time to time to comply with law or to meet our changing business requirements, without notice to you. By continuing to participate in the Competition, you agree to be bound by the terms of these updates and amendments.
9.4. In the event that Alliants deems an individual has acted in bad faith with respect to the Competition, the individual will be excluded from the Competition and consequently be ineligible to claim the benefits of any Prize.
9.5. If any of these General Survey Competition T&Cs are found to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable by any court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of the General Survey Competition T&Cs remain in full force and effect.
9.6. Only you and we are entitled to enforce these General Survey Competition T&Cs. No third party is entitled to enforce any of the General Survey Competition T&Cs, whether by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 (which is expressly excluded) or otherwise.
9.7. We may freely transfer or assign any part of our rights or delegate our obligations under these General Survey Competition T&Cs. You are not entitled to transfer or assign, by operation of law or otherwise, any part of your rights or delegate your obligations under these General Survey Competition T&Cs without our prior written consent.
9.8. These General Survey Competition T&Cs set out the entire agreement between you and us in respect of the Competition and replace any and all prior terms, conditions, warranties and/or representations to the fullest extent permitted by law as relate to the Competition. Any delay or failure by us to exercise any right we may have under these General Survey Competition T&Cs does not constitute a waiver by us of that right.
9.9. These General Survey Competition T&Cs shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
